Where Is Moldova?

Moldova is a landlocked country between Romania and Ukraine, in Eastern Europe, near the Black Sea.
It is much smaller than it's neighboring countries of Romania and Ukraine. Moldova is estimated to be about 13,067 square miles, or about the size of Maryland. It is a former Soviet Union republic that seceded in December of 1991. Geographicaly, Moldova is a low-lying country with rivers running from North to South - making it a country of great agricultural condition.


Where Is Moldova's Capital?

Moldova's capital, Chisinau, is located almost directly in the middle of the country, near the city of Ialoveni.
